Onion Lingo

Program Note

The piece Onion Lingo (2023) features percussive sounds and alteration of slow and quick pulse, though the time signature is ambiguous. Deeper sustained voices and a rich background support the texture. After a few restarts the composition fades away.
The work Onion Lingo is written with C++ and a synthesis software built by the author. It uses wave terrain synthesis, convolution and physical modelling, among other methods. (The word-pair in the title is a key to a 5x5 word square.)
